Tutoring reading (phonics, fluency, comprehension), mathematics, and social skills for 10 years. I'm a full-time teacher of 6th-12th students during the school year and also do private tutoring during the summer break. If our schedules and locations work out, tutoring is also available throughout the school year. I have excellent training in phonics and early literacy instruction for early readers, as well targeted interventions for older students who have learning gaps. Having years of experience in special education has given me many additional opportunities to teach students with learning disabilities. I also am skilled with behavior management strategies and a wide variety of research-based interventions. My undergraduate GPA was 3.89 and my graduate GPA was 4.0
